getting our ski legs
Day 2 and although the snow was great, visibility in the morning was a bit poor while we tried to find our ski legs
James finds his ski face
It was a bit chilly up the mountain so James took that as an ideal excuse to finish early (his legs were perfectly fine it was just a bit nippy)
the sunny view from the bar on the mountain as we sipped hot chocolate
Gez soon followed James off after he got a bit of a chil. Graham and Sue were last on the mountain but a quick message on the walkie talkies that we'd got the beers in soon saw them in the bar.

We will try to find the ski legs again tomorrow.

Powder day3 Valleys 2011 (with Sue, Graham and Gez)
The 2009 trip to the 1st Valley wasn't quite long enough to ski all the piste so we are going back again, this time stopping in the 3rd Valley of Val Thorens. Sue and Graham also took a trip to Meribel (the 2nd Valley) last year and enjoyed it so much they wanted another go. For the first time we are going before Christmas so we are hoping the height(1850m - 3220m) will give us a good chance of snow.Les Arcs: The Movies
Sadly James' computer wasn't up to processing the hefty files that Gez's camera produces. We'll do better next time (and hopefully point the camera in a better direction!) but here's what we managed to shoot this year.Les Arcs 2011
